LED Light Therapy
Blue and Red LED Light Therapy are excellent for your Skin! Previously at Anew You, we offered these treatments as a separate procedure. Still, we can offer them to YOU at a much better price as part of your HydraFacial Procedure! Blue LED light works great for acne treatment… It kills the bacteria that cause acne. Red LED light therapy helps to reduce vascular dilation (“redness'“) and has anti-inflammatory activity, along with inducing and supporting collagen production. Excellent treatment for allergy-related or rosacea-type skin inflammation!

What happens during a Hydrafacial Treatment?
In your first HydraFacial procedure, one of Dr. Sherry Wehner’s Certified HydraFacial Expert Technicians will consult with you, including a complete evaluation of your skin needs and goals. Next, a thorough detoxification will be performed on your skin, including advanced medical-grade dermabrasion, exfoliation, extractions, and hydration. A peel will then be applied, consisting of glycolic and salicylic acid peeling agents, which can range from mild to moderate to medical grade peeling based upon your desire at the time (since Anew You is a Medical Clinic and not just a standard “Med Spa” or “Spa”). Next, any additional Boosters, LED lights, or Lymphatic drainage treatments are performed, depending on your skin’s needs. Lastly, your ongoing in-office HydraFacial recommended routine will be discussed and finalized with your Anew You HydraFacial Expert Certified Aesthetician.

What is the difference between a regular Hydrafacial and Hydrafacial MD offered at Anew You?
AT Anew You, because Dr. Sherry Wehner MD is on staff full time and oversees all procedures, we can provide higher grade (“stronger”) treatments than are available at other locations, giving you better results with each treatment. However, please note that the price may be a little higher because these higher-grade peels and treatments cost us more than the usual HydraFacial treatments… but they are so worth it!
Which Hydrafacial machine do you have at Anew You? I heard the newer models can do more areas, LIPS, EYES, hands, body, and even scalp for hair restoration.
At Anew You, we have the latest HydraFacial Elite machine that can treat all these areas and more. In addition, we also have red and blue LED light technology, as well as lymphatic drainage!
How often should I get a Hydrafacial MD Treatment?
You can get a HydraFacial MD Treatment as often as once per week while under the supervision of a board-certified medical doctor such as Sherry Wehner, MD, at Anew You. However, monthly visits to our clinic for HydraFacial Treatments are sufficient to maintain your at-home skin care regimen and other therapies Dr. Sherry and Anew You trained staff recommend.
